My laptop crashed during Finals last semester. It was incredibly frustrating to have this happen during Finals week. What terrible timing! It was also frustrating to have lost all my documents, music, and pictures. I took in my laptop and nothing could be recovered. I had to accept the fact that everything is lost.
Still there are times that I get frustrated all over again. For example, this morning I really wanted to listen to some music while getting ready for church. I looked on youtube and couldn't find what I wanted. How bothersome. Then later this afternoon I was going to show some pictures to my friend from my internship in India this summer. Then it hit me again, those pictures are gone. Again how bothersome.
I have since learned that an external hard drive is my new best friend, in case another disaster happens to strike my laptop again.

I dont think I did very good on this post. I complained too much and didnt get my point of media across. I'll do better next time :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had an external hard drive, but I don't want to pay for one.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh I have learned this the hard way too! I was a TA for two classes with all my students grades on it when my laptop crashed. I didn't have them saved anywhere else! Luckily those were like the only documents they could get off my computer, but I got a LOT of mad emails that semester because it took me awhile to get grades back up. Ohh laptops! How I don't understand them!
